When a contractor uploads completion photos, our AI compares them against the task scope and flags discrepancies. The property manager sees the verification result and decides whether to release payment, request a revision, or open a dispute. Contractors and technicians do not see the AI's analysis; only the property manager's written feedback flows back to them.

What happens if I dispute a contractor's submission?

The property manager writes a clear reason for the dispute and the contractor is notified to resubmit. Disputes are resolved between the property manager and contractor; Casalink does not intervene in those decisions.

What is the Wallet?

The Wallet is where owners, occupants, and contractors track funds, payments, and payouts within Casalink. It replaces the older Payments view.

What is Gate Terminal?

Gate Terminal is a scoped mode used by estate security personnel to verify visitor codes, log walk-ins, record exits, and raise incidents. It is a separate role with limited access; it is not a property manager login.

How do I report a repair issue?

Open the app, tap Report an Issue, select a category, describe the problem, add photos, set urgency, and submit. Your property manager is notified immediately.

Can I pay rent through Casalink?

Yes. From the Fees tab you can view invoices, see what's due, and pay through supported channels in your region. Receipts are saved automatically.

Can I book amenities like the gym, pool, or function hall?

Yes (coming soon), where your property manager has enabled amenity booking. Tap Bookings, select the amenity, and choose a slot.

How do I approve a visitor?

Open Visitors, tap New Visitor, enter the visitor's name and arrival window, and a code is generated. Share the code or QR with your visitor; security scans or enters it at the gate.

Will my landlord see my private information?

Your landlord and property manager only see information relevant to your tenancy: lease, rent status, maintenance requests, inspection records, and any visitor or amenity activity tied to your unit. Personal photos, messages, and unrelated activity are private. We do not train AI models on your data.

I received an invite link. How do I join?

Tap the link from your property manager and follow the prompts. Casalink works in your browser or as a mobile app; both work the same way.

My job submission was rejected. What now?

Your property manager will provide a written reason. Review the feedback, complete the corrections, and resubmit with new photos.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Casalink uses bank-grade encryption and complies with Nigeria NDPA, EEA/UK GDPR, Canadian PIPEDA, Kenya DPA, and other applicable privacy laws. We do not train AI models on your data under any circumstance.

Will I get notifications on WhatsApp?

For African regions, yes. Casalink uses WhatsApp Business API for notifications where it's a secondary communication channel, alongside SMS and email.
